Polaramine, an antihistamine to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever, was released in Punjab with the disrespectful use of Gurbani upon it’s packaging.

Chairman of Punjab Medical Council Dr. G.S Grewal has said that the Pharmaceutical Company has disrespected the Gurbani scriptures to inflate the sale of it’s product. He added that the concerned product ought to be banned across the state.

  1. Outrageous – these products should be pulled form shelves and their manufacturer publicly named, shamed and heavily fined. After all if India can do such a thing over noodles with Nestle they should be able to do this even more urgently. But with the Badals and SGPC ‘advocating’ for the Sikhs they put us in a hypocritical position when it comes to defending Sikhs religious sanctity and the Courts in India probably won’t want to entertain such complaints either (after all they turned away Gurmeet Pinky, a self confessed mass murderer of Sikhs).
