LUDHIANA, Punjab—The medical staff at the Dayanand Medical College & Hospital have controlled the liquid accumulation inside Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s body. For the past week, excessive force feeding led to water formation and kidney malfunctioning in Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s body. Sources near Bapu Surat Singh informed Sikh24 that incompatible liquid supplements were given to him, which triggered formation of water inside his body. As a consequence, his hemoglobin level in blood had also fallen drastically.
Talking with Sikh24, Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s son Bhai Ravinderjit Singh Gogi informed that Bapu Ji is spiritually in Chardi Kala and firm to his stance for the release of political Sikh prisoners. He said that physically Bapu Ji has become very weak however. He told Sikh24 that Bapu Ji has written a letter to the Sikh sangat in regards to a meeting being called in Ludhiana on December 1, which would be released soon.
It is noteworthy that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is on hunger strike since January 16 seeking release of political Sikh prisoners being held illegally by the Indian Government. Bapu Ji has been force fed numerous time by Punjab government against his wish.
