Phoolka Blasts Captain Amarinder for Declaring Jagdish Tytler Innocent

AMRITSAR, Punjab—Former Senior Advocate Harwinder Singh Phoolka today lashed out at Captain Amarinder Singh for citing Jagdish Tytler as innocent in Sikh genocide cases of 1984.

He alleged that Captain Amarinder Singh is making such storng statements to gain favour in becoming the head of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.

Captain Amarinder Singh had said in a recent Press conference that Jagdish Tytler was innocent and that he didn’t play any role in Sikh genocide of November 1984.

H.S Phoolka added that Captain Amarinder had also passed a clean chit to Jagdish Tytler and Kamal Nath on May 16, 2010 and is continuing to claim their innocence since.

He added that media references and reports of Human rights commission reveal that Jagdish Tytler and Kamal Nath were heading the Hindu mobs which burnt Sikhs alive during the genocide in Delhi in November 1984.
