Talking with a Sikh24’s correspondent, Vice President S. Narinderjit Singh Bindra accounced that approximately 175,000 devotees from India and abroad paid obeisance to Sri Hemkunt Sahib. He added that 500,000 devotees were expected to visit Sri Hemkunt Sahib this season, but the collapse of bridge and some unnecessary rumors lowered the visitors count to Sikh shrine.

He maintained that the Management trust has started preparing for the upcoming season to facilitate Sikh devotees with convenient journey.

Sewadar Kirpal Singh of Management Trust asserted that the statistics of 175,000 devotees is still a record because the weather conditions were abnormal during this season.
