LUDHIANA, Punjab—Noted Sikh preacher Giani Pinderpal Singh has described the decision of pardoning Sirsa based controversial cultist Gurmeet Ram Rahim as move against Sikh sentiments.
After coming back from his visit to the USA, Giani Pinderpal Singh said that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is supreme, but the decision taken by its Jathedar has hurt Sikh sentiments deeply.
“The move has caused deep fury amongst Sikhs across the world. In view of anger among Sikhs, Singh Sahiban should taken back their decision with immediate effect and take the next decision by upholding rich traditions of the highest temporal seat of Sikhs”, he added.
However, he forbid Sikh Sangat to make the remarks that hurt the dignity and supremacy of the holy Takht.
