KHADOOR SAHIB, Punjab—Addressing a conference of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) in Khadoor Sahib earlier today, S. Simranjit Singh Mann appealed the Sikh masses to unite against the decision by the appointed Jathedars to pardon Gurmeet Ram Rahim. The conference was organized on the Gurtagaddi Diwas of Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji. S. Mann appealed Sikh masses to unite on a common platform to make the ‘Sarbat Khalsa’ successful in pressurizing Takht Jathedars’ to take back their verdict.
“Sikh Nation has been Government atrocities from a long time but due it could not force the Sikhs to give in,” said Simranjit Singh Mann. He motivated the Sikh masses to openly challenge the atrocities of Government. “Whenever the Government put me behind bars you people managed to avail bail for me. Similarly, if you will face any atrocity of Government, I will guarantee for your bail,” he added.
Large gathering of Simranjit Singh Mann’s supporters was witnessed in the conference. Bhai Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala (General Secretary, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar)), Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, Prof. Mohinderpal Singh, Bhai Mohkam Singh (President, United Akali Dal), Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala (President, Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala), Bhai Karam Singh Bhoian, Bhai Wariam Singh Sakhira, Jathedar Baldev Singh Patti and others present.
