CHANDIGARH, Punjab—For alleged anti-party activities, political affairs committee (PAC) of AAP today suspended Harinder Singh Khalsa and Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi (both sitting MPs) from primary membership of the party.
Internal sources in the party have reveled that the PAC has asked the party disciplinary committee to take action accordingly. Now the three-member National Disciplinary Action Committee, with Pankaj Gupta, Dilip Pandey and Deepak Bajpai as its members, will look into the complaints of anti-party activities and indiscipline against Dharamvira Gandhi and Harinder Singh Khalsa.
It is worth mentioning that both the MPs are not in agreement on various organizational and policy issue with the party high command including its convener Arvind Kejriwal. They have opposed various decisions of the High command on numerous times. Their relations with AAP Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur were also not good.
