NY, USA—Following the strong opposition to Akali leadership, Aam Admi Party’s Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur might have to face strict opposition as he’s visiting Canada to raise funds for the upcoming assembly elections of Punjab in 2017.
An American organization working against Civil rights abuse named ‘Sikhs for Justice’ has reportedly calls to the Sikhs residing in Canada to protest against AAP’s Punjab Convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur for using derogatory remarks against Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale.
In a press note shared with ‘Sikh24’, Sikhs for Justice has announced that they will not let Sucha Singh Chhotepur address any rally or conference. Sucha Singh had termed Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale as ‘Chambal Da Daaku’ and ‘a Congress Agent’.
Legal Advisor of ‘Sikhs for Justice’ S. Gurpatwant Singh Pannu said that Sucha Singh Chhotepur is against the ideology of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, while the majority of Canadians are followers of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale. So, they will not let Chhotepur step into any public forum like rally or meeting. He added that Chhotepur had always acted against the Sikh struggle for freedom, so we will never let him enter Canada.
