CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Bhai Gurmeet Singh has been on 28 days parole leave from Burail Jail in order to attend his younger sister’s wedding.
On 23 April as his parole came to an end, and Bhai Parminder Singh and Bhai R P Singh from Sikh Relief accompanied him on the painful journey back to the prison.
Along the way Gurmeet Singh’s family and the Sikh Relief team, stopped to pay respects to Guru Granth Sahib Ji at Gurdwara Amb Sahib in Mohali. Finally, the last destination was a dark and lonely prison cell, awaiting Gurmeet Singh’s return.
