Vikram Singh Dhanaula’s Treatment Starts After 65 Day Hunger Strike

BARNALA, Punjab—After having concluded his 65 day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, Vikam Singh Dhanaula was voluntarily admitted to the Government hospital in Dhanaula, Barnala.  Vikram Singh’s extended hunger strike had damaged some internal organs, leaving him unable to digest or intake liquids easily.

He was also having problems speaking and breathing issues.

Vikram Singh was visited by a number of his family members, along with local people from Dhanaula.

Sikh24 provided regular updates from his hunger strike campaign, we will continue to keep our readers updated with his health status and future goals.  It should be remembered that Vikram Singh took amrit at Sri Akal Takht Sahib before starting his hunger strike.  He traveled by bicycle to New Delhi to raise awareness of injustices against the Sikhs.
