BATHINDA, Punjab—As per the directions of the so-called Panthik government, security cover given to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Jathedar Giani Balwant Singh Nandgarh has been withdrawn following his recent stand against RSS and amended Nanakshahi Calender. The Badals also seemed irked over his statement in favour of an independent Sikh homeland named ‘Khalistan.’
As per sources, the Punjab government security cover comprised the 3 police personnel, a pilot gipsy and its driver given to the Jathedar. The speculations are also being made that the Badals could also relieve him from the post of Jathedar.
It is worth mentioning that Jathedar Nandgarh is taking a rigid stand against the growing activities of Hindu terrorist organization RSS and its political wing BJP in Punjab. He did not even allow RSS to hold its function at Talwandi Sabo. Secondly, he is strongly opposing the amended Nanakshahi Calender which created deep confusion among Sikhs. This Calender is similar to Hindu Bikrami Calender that hits the separate identity of Sikh nation. In addition, some days ago, he also supported Khalistan saying it is the only solution of the problems faced by Sikhs. .
if badal can appoint or dismiss akal takht jathedars or while we let him appoint or dismiss akal takht jathedars is akal purukh in sachkhand going to see guru punj pyare in charge of our panth or are we under mahants again? If the jathedars arent nesasarily mahants but those who appoint them are. what situation are we in?
Sikhs should support Jathedar Jio and stop Badal from removing Him ji!
