NEW DELHI, India—Extending his support to the Rights and Justice march being carried out by Dal Khalsa and other Panthik organizations to mark the 30th anneverssary of the 1984 Sikh genocide, Sikh crusader Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has appealed all Sikhs to participate in the demonstration.

Bhai Khalsa had staged a 44 day long hunger strike a year ago at Gurdwara Amb Sahib Mohali with demand of the release of Sikh political prisoners who had completed their jail terms. He forced the government to release some of the Sikh detainees at that time.

Talking to media persons, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh said the march is being organized to make United Nation aware of the genocide of Sikhs carried out in November 1984 by Hindu mobs, and to expose the real face of India before the international community. He said every Sikh should dedicate himself to the procession.

He said a mega rally would be organized on November 3 at Janter-Mantar to pay homage to the victims of the genocide and to seek justice from United Nations. He said the Rights and Justice march would start from Sri Akal Takht Sahib Amritsar on Nov 2 and reach New Delhi on Nov 3.

Bhai Khalsa also backed Punjab Band call given by All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) led by Bhai Karnail Singh Peermohammad.
