TALWANDI SABO, Punjab—Responding to allegations by Balkar Sidhu as baseless, Prof. Baljinder Kaur has stated that she does not hold dual votes in Talwandi Sabo. She stated that false information is being spread to malign her, and hinder the growing support for the Aam Aadmi Party in Talwandi Sabo.
This past week, Balkar Sidhu, whose nomination from Talwandi Sabo was cancelled by the Aam Aadmi Party had leveled serious allegations against Prof. Baljinder Kaur who replaced him.
Sidhu had blamed Prof. Baljinder Kaur for holding dual votes. He stated that vote number 352 shows her as the daughter of Darshan Singh, while 354 record displays one Amarjit Singh as her father. Sidhu claims to have credible proof against Baljinder Kaur, however he has not shared anything publicly. Furthermore, the voter registration list clearly shows no relation between Baljinder Kaur 352 and 354.
Supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party have questioned Balkar Sidhu in why he is actively campaigning only against Baljinder Kaur and ignoring Akali Dal and Congress candidates.
