Director Sukhjinder Singh told that real events and incidents from the life of Bhai Jinda-Sukha have been presented in the movie.
He also informed that most of the movie was shot in the village Gadli (Bhai Jinda’s native village), Fatehgarh Sahib, Karanpur (Rajasthan) and Pune. He maintained that movie contains six songs sung by renowned Punjabi singers.
“Jinda-Sukha” is based on the true life story of two great martyrs in the 20th century Sikh history Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha, known for their high profile acts of bravery. This movie is based on Jinda and Sukha’s letters which are already available in text form. Jinda and Sukha were sentenced to death for assassinating former Indian Army Gen Arun Kumar Sridhar Vaidya for commanding army to attack on Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) in June 1984.
