CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On June 10, a fully naked man entered into Gurdwara Sahib of village Gorsian (District: Hoshiarpur) during the morning hours with an intention of vandalizing the holy saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. However, the sewadars sitting inside the Gurdwara Sahib succeeded in taking him under control very quickly nevertheless the attacker succeeded in reaching very close to Guru Sahib.
In a video surfaced over social media, the Gurdwara authorities have revealed that the attacker reached up to Guru Sahib within three seconds only. “Now, the attacker is posing to be a mental patient, but the way and timing he tried to vandalize Guru Sahib’s saroop, tells a different story,” Gurdwara authorities said while adding that he ambushed into Gurdwara Sahib exactly when the sangat went back to home.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the attacker has been surrendered to the police for further action.
