CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On June 1, an FIR No. 0040 was registered in the Badhni Kalan police station against a person named Sukhdarshan “Singh” aka Gagga who had termed Guru Gobind Singh Ji as a rapist while making comment on a Facebook post. This FIR has been registered on the complaint of Sikh activist Surinder Singh Thikriwala.
Surinder Singh Thikriwala, who was accompanied by Sikh activists Baba Jang Singh and Bhawandeep Singh, informed that he noticed Sukhdarshan Gagga’s derogatory comment about Guru Gobind Singh Ji on May 31. “So, we decided to lodge complaint against him,” he added.
It is learnt that the sections 295-A, 153-A of IPC and section 20 of IT Act 2000 have been invoked in this FIR.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Sukhdarshan Gagga has been arrested by the Police.
The visual content available on Sukhdarshan Gagga’s Facebook profile reveals that he is a staunch follower of controversial Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwala.
