Punjab government deploys 1500 buses to offer statewide free bus service to Sultanpur Lodhi

:dateline:On the eve of the 550th birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the state government of Punjab has launched a statewide free bus service for the devotees aspirant of paying obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib in Sultanpur Lodhi.

Sharing the development with media, Punjab�s Tourism and Cultural Minister Charanjit Singh Channi informed that 1500 buses of Transport Department have been deployed to commute devotees from their localities to Sultanpur Lodhi. �These buses will commute devotees for 8 days, i.e. from November 5 to November 12,� he added.

Channi further informed that the whole detailed schedule of these buses has been sent to the statewide Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Magistrates. He added that the schedule of buses of has been made keeping in view the villages and towns of every assembly constituency.

�A toll free number 1800-180-0550 has also been launched for the facility of devotees,� said Channi.
