CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Land Port Authority of India (LPAI) is going to launch an online registration portal on October 20 for the Sikhs aspirant of paying obeisance Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib. This announcement by the LPAI has given an end to the apprehensions about delay in the start of Kartarpur corridor due to non-completion of corridor’s terminal on the Indian side.
Govind Mohan, who heads the LPAI, has said that the entire project, including the road construction and passenger terminal building work, will be completed as per schedule on October 31.
On being questioned about the allotment of date and time, he said that the aspirant pilgrims will be allotted time and date on first come and first serve basis.
