TARN TARAN, Punjab—The former Akali minister Virsa Singh Valtoha was reportedly barred from addressing the Sikh gathering during the 27th martyrdom anniversary program of Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar at village Dassuwal on August 11.
A video has gone viral over social media in which the Sikh leaders could be spotted barring Virsa Singh Valtoha from addressing the sangat gathered during the program.
It is pertinent to note here that Virsa Singh Valtoha was once a confident of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale but after the holocaust of June-1984 he got highlighted for showing an extremely weak attitude in front of the Indian agencies.
In the late 1990’s, Virsa Valtoha openly joined the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and became a legislator from Khemkaran constituency in 2007.
