:dateline:Taking strong notice of the grave violation of the Sikh code of conduct committed inside Gurdwara Sahib of Halton, the SGPC appointed acting Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has sought clarification from the Gurdwara�s management committee. Notably, a bride and bridegroom had completed the custom of Anand Karaj while sitting on chairs before the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji on July 4.
Demanding clarification within 10 days, Giani Harpreet Singh has said that the Granthi, Raagi Jatha and the Halton Sikh Cultural Association can�t be forgiven for this violation. �If the clarification will not be adequate, then all the guilty ones will be entitled to punishment as per the Sikh code of conduct,� he added.
