LUDHIANA, Punjab—Bapu Karnail Singh Hassanpur, elder brother of Sikh activist Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, today passed away at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, following ill health. He was rushed to DMCH yesterday when he fell unconscious due to physical illness.
The DMCH authorities didn’t let Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa meet his elder brother, despite occupying the same ward. Bapu Ji had sought permission from the authorities to meet his elder brother in his last moments, but the administration refused the request.
