CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Under instruction of the SGPC President Avtar Makkar, members of sub-committee Raghujit Singh Virk (Senior Vice President), Sukhdev Singh Bhaur (General Secretary), Nirmal Singh Johal Kalan (Member of Executive Committee) and Diljit Singh Bedi held a meeting regarding renovating various buildings of historical Gurdwara Sahibs. The team will start its work at Gurdwara Bagh Shaheedan in Sector 44 of Chandigarh first.
Diljit Singh Bedi informed that the sub-committee has recommended the executive committee to accomplish task of Gurdwara Bagh Shaheedan. He also informed that steps will be taken to secure the ancient buildings under directions of a special team, which will include historians and architects.
