Faridkot—In a joint initiative, Sikhs for Justice and the All India Sikh Students Federation have launched a campaign to install CCTV cameras in Gurdwaras across Punjab. It is notable that both organizations have taken this initiative to control the rising incidents of desecration of holy scriptures of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Giving information to Sikh24 about their initiative, President of AISSF Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad informed that the process to install CCTV cameras has already started.

He said that first set of cameras were installed at Gurdwara Patshahi Dasvi of village Sarawan in Faridkot district.  He added that he was getting tremendous support from the Sikh diaspora in the initiative.

  1. They should install CCTV cameras not just in all the Gurdwaras but live feed these to Sikhs who can monitor these images live. I would also urge that such CCTV be put into every single SGPC meeting room so we get total transparency with what Makkar is doing with his cronies – after all the white house oval office has constant audio recording of every conversation that takes place there. But Makkar has everything to hide so will never agree to such a thing especially as his master Badal would never give him permission as that might set a precedent and we would then learn in turn how the Hinduvta mafia tells Badal what they want done.
