NEW DELHI—After the Karkardooma court acquitted Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in 1984 anti-Sikh pogrom case, All India Sikhs Students Federation President Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad hurled a shoe at the judge inside the courtroom. Karnail Singh was later arrested.
His lawyer said that he hurled the shoe not with the intention to hit the judge, but to express failing in the judicial system in India. He added that Karnail Singh was ready to face the consequences.
The acquittal of Sajjan Kumar resulted in protests outside the trial court. A shoe was also thrown at the judge inside the court reportedly. “If Sajjan can’t be hanged, then I should be hanged,” said Jagdish Kaur, a witness and petitioner in the case.

How Sikhs expect fair Trial and Judgement? Sikhs are on wrong path. Sikh leaders are contaminated and corrupt. We’re devided and stab each other and try to destroy the progress of own family members. Sikhs do not follow Guru Ji’s teaching, spread corruption, take false oaths, loot congregation funds and suppress to honest and hardworking Sikhs. Sikhs are heavily involved in drug smuggling specially Amritdharies. Sikh Political leader have no ethics and spread corruption and destroy our own Sikh communities Worldwide and most of them are Indian Government agents, but put blame on innocent Sikh members.
Amritdharies have no fear of Guru Sahib as involved in criminal activities in religion places/Gurdwaras. The entire Sikh communities are shinking in drugs and booze everywhere. Now placing themself on market for sale. Always in search to find opportunity excuses any kind of action of arrest, death, birth, judgement or anniverseries to go on podium and collect funds from congregation to meet their life living needs or buy business. Amritdharies sell Tabacco, Spirit and Dead Meat, but preach to others not to consume and very loud lectures to congregation members. We settle our own scores on foreign lands then blame hate crimes. What level of purity is in our blood?
Indian Government, Worldwide law and enforcement is treating us like thugs and that is the fact by the grace of Guru ji. We Sikhs can not expect better until we ourself deserve better. The Punjab’s mother integrity is in question!
