Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has announced a financial relief package to Sikh families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This announcement was made to ensure families that lost their family members are able to survive and continue on with their lives. Under this package, the DSGMC will help out those Sikh Raagis, Dhadis, and Granthi Singhs who lost their jobs during this pandemic.

Sharing the development with the media, DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa and general secretary Harmeet Singh Kalka informed that the beneficiaries of this financial package will also include the children of those Sikhs, who lost their lives due to Covid-19.

“The Sikh children, who lost their fathers due to Covid-19, will be offered free of cost education in the DSGMC run schools as well as colleges,” they said while announcing a monthly pension of INR 2500/- for those families who lost their family chiefs due to Covid-19.

They further announced the daughters of Covid-19’s Sikh victims will be offered INR 21,000/- on their marriages besides making arrangements for their marriages inside Gurdwara Sahib.
