Court to Delhi Police: What action Has Been Taken Against @KanganaTeam For Hate Mongering

Taking cognizance of a criminal case filed by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) against Kangana Ranaut under section 156/3 in Patiala house court, the court has asked the Delhi Police what action has been taken against Kangana Ranaut for hate-mongering.

Divulging the information, the DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa termed it as a big victory against the hate-mongering of Ranaut. “We are hopeful that soon she will be behind bars for inciting communal hatred against farmers and labeling them as terrorists. The people like Kangana are dangerous for the society and meant for vitiating peaceful atmosphere”, he said.

In December, the DSGMC sent a legal notice to Ranaut, seeking an unconditional apology for her “derogatory” tweets against farmers and activists involved in the protest against the Centre’s farm laws.

The Bollywood star, who is known for her hateful comments, was also asked to remove the particular tweets.

In its notice, the DSGMC pointed out her derogatory tweet calling the aged mother of a farmer as a woman available for Rs 100. Her tweets portray farmers’ protests as anti-national. The gurdwara body demanded an unconditional apology from her for her insensitive remarks on farmers’ protest. But she did not tender any apology for her offense.

On the other hand, Punjab-based lawyers had also initiated legal proceedings against her.  Hakam Singh, lawyer of Punjab and Haryana High Court, on November 30, served a legal notice to Kangana asking her to tender an apology for her actions within seven days or face a defamation suit. The legal proceedings are going on against her, but the Police are not taking any action against her.

Following a lot of criticism, she had to delete her highly objectionable tweet.  However, the Modi government is showing leniency toward this controversial Indian actor.

Notably, Ranaut indulged in a Twitter war against Punjab singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. Dosanjh, who announced big financial aid for the families of those who died while taking part in the stir against three farm laws of BJP-led Central Government of India, snubbed her for her hateful comments towards Sikhs and farmers.

p style=”font-weight: 400;”>Amid the unprecedented stir of farmers against three laws on the borders of Delhi, Ranaut has emerged as the face of hardcore Hindutva elements, which are preparing the ground for the genocide of the minorities, including Muslims and Sikhs in India. The Sikhs are on their target a second time. First, they remained targets in the 1990s when the Indian security forces attacked Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple), the holiest Sikh shrine, and patronized the massacre of Sikhs in Delhi and other cities of India. Now, they are being targeted for their leading role in the stir that has given sleepless nights to the BJP government in centre.
