Legal notice served to Twitter seeking deactivation of Kangana’s account for spreading hate against Sikh farmers

NEW DELHI, India—The former DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK, who now heads a party named JAGO, has sent a legal notice to the Managing Director of Twitter seeking deactivation of Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut’s account. GK has taken this initiative after Kangana Ranaut dubbed protesting farmers as terrorists in reply to International popstar Rihanna’s pro-farmers tweet.

Sharing the development with media, Manjit Singh GK informed that he has sent a legal notice to Twitter’s managing director seeking the deactivation of Kangana Ranaut’s account within three days. He added that he has sent this legal notice through his lawyer Advocate Naginder Benipal.

“Kangana Ranaut has been directly spreading hate against Sikhs among other communities by dubbing them as terrorists while she doesn’t have any proof in this regard,” said GK while adding that Kangana’s tweets need be controlled shortly.

Manjit Singh GK said that his team has been keeping a regular watch on those spreading hate against Sikh farmers.

He further informed that his team has also lodged a criminal complaint against Shiv Budhiraja in Greater Kailash police station.

Notably, Vishnu Garden resident Shiv Budhiraja was leading the BJP goons who pelted stones on farmers. He had also spoken of eliminating the Sikhs while giving interview to a channel named “Khabar India”.

“When the Kashmiri youths pelt stones, the Indian media starts claiming that they were being funded by Pakistan. But now why the Indian media is not questioning that who is funding those pelting stones at protesting farmers,” he maintained.
