Lohri, a traditional festival of North India, marks the end of the lunar year’s coldest month. It is celebrated in different ways in different parts of the North Indian region.

Speaking to Sikh24, a renowned kite vendor of Tarn Taran said he has been observing a steep increase in kites having pro-farmers slogans. “Usually, the parents refrain from offering kites to their children, but this year, almost all the parents are depicting a special interest in purchasing these kites for their children,” he added.
He revealed that these kites have almost gone out of stock as the demand is much beyond estimation.
Meanwhile, another popular trend that Punjab is witnessing is of Farmer Protest and Kesri flags. Flags are seen on cars, houses, tractors, businesses, and shops. There have been multiple reports of wedding cars also sporting Kisan protest flags.
