317th Martyrdom Day: Akal Takht directs Sikhs to enchant sacred Mool Mantra for 15 minutes

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The SGPC appointed officiating Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has directed the entire Sikh community to enchant the sacred Mool Mantra and Gur Mantra for 15 minutes in the memory of Shaheed Baba Zorawar Singh, Shaheed Baba Fateh Singh and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji on December 27.

Notably, the 317^th martyrdom day of Shaheed Baba Zorawar Singh, Shaheed Baba Fateh Singh and Mata Gujar Kaur Ji is being marked on December 27 at Gurdwara Jyoti Saroop Sahib in Sirhind.

Giani Harpreet Singh has fixed the timing for enchanting the sacred Mool Mantra and Gur Mantra from 10:00 am to 10:15 am on this historic day.

Every year, tens of thousands of devotees throng to Gurdwara Jyoti Saroop Sahib to pay tribute to the matchless martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s younger sons Shaheed Baba Zorawar Singh and Shaheed Baba Fateh Singh.
