DSGMC slams Haryana government

In a separate statement, DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa has also slammed the Haryana state government for using force on the peacefully marching farmers. He has said that the Haryana state government has made the Indian constitution feel ashamed with its oppressive tactics.

“Unfortunately, the Haryana state government used force on peacefully protesting farmers on the anniversary of Indian constitution’s acceptance across country. Our constitution grants right of equality to every citizen for presenting his / her side but the Haryana state government committed grave violence of constitutional norms by using baton-charge, tear gas shells and water cannons on peacefully protesting farmers,” he said.
