Hindu Man Vandalizes Holy Saroop of Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Pakistan

KARACHI, Pakistan—An extremely unfortunate incident of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s sacrilege has come to fore in Pakistan where a Hindu man named Anil Kumar deliberately vandalized the holy saroop with blades. This is the third sacrilege incident in Sindh state of Pakistan in recent times.

Sources have informed that the sacrilege culprit Anil Kumar, son of Gopi Chand deliberately vandalized the holy saroop installed in Gurdwara Bhai Thehria Singh situated in Mohalla Shahi Bazaar of Kandhra (Sindh, Pakistan). The sacrilege culprit fled from Gurdwara Sahib after committing sacrilege.

Sikh24 has learned that the local police have arrested Anil Kumar after registering an FIR No. 119 against him.

Meanwhile, the Sikh bodies of Sindh have sought strong security arrangements for the Gurdwaras as two such incidents had earlier also occurred in Gurdwara Bhai Labhu Singh and Gurdwara Bhai Narayan Singh.

Pakistani Sikhs have informed that the management committee of Gurdwara Bhai Thehria Singh, where this sacrilege incident occurred, is also guilty of placing portraits of Hindu deities near the vandalized saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

  1. I don’t believe this one bit, Hindus are literally treated like slaves in Pakistan. This sounds like mischief by the Pakistani government or officials to create trouble and hate between 2 oppressed communities so that they cannot unite. Also Hindus see SGGS in the highest order as it has the Ramavatar mentioned in it, so why would they damage their own teaching?
