AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—The 28th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha was today observed at Gurdwara Jhande Bunge situated within the periphery of Sri Harmandir Sahib.
In a religious program commemorated to the martyrdom of two great martyrs, Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was laid followed by Ardas and Gurbani Kirtan.
The family members of the duo Sikh martyrs were honored with Siropaos on this occasion.
Several eminent Sikh personalities including Prof. Baljinder Singh, Bhai Jarnail Singh Sakhira, Bhai Harbir Singh Sandhu, Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Bhai Mahabir Singh Sultanwind, Bhai Sukhjit Singh Khose, and others were also present on this occasion.
On August 10 in 1986, Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha had shot dead the Indian army general A.S. Vaidya for his role in the armed invasion into the holiest Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib during the June-1984’s holocaust.
On October 9 in 1992, the duo Sikh warriors were hanged till death in the Yerwada Central Prison of Pune. They had proudly admitted their act of punishing A.S. Vaidya before the Court.

The meanness-and the honesty in Advocacy on verbal request of SARDAR AJMER SINGH LAKHOWAL, I appeared as counsel for him on his request, the request was that they are not my gunmen, they arrested me for conducting Bhog by him on the ‘Sukha and Jinda’ death anniversary, be my counsel.
I as an Advocate appeared for him free of any charges and provided him along with team all humanitarian services. During that period before appearing before SDM, I did ask Investigation officer (IO) is the calendara-report-of allegations written by your hand.
He was very nice as an Investigation officer (IO) frankly replied that I am in police line from where I was called to produce him before SDM, Ludhiana.
Then one DSP approached SDM, Ludhiana, without recording the mandatory statement of the Investigation officer (IO) and without any cross-examination, sent in judicial custody against the legal procedure with the understanding of SARDAR AJMER SINGH LAKHOWAL as I came to know later on from SARDAR AJMER SINGH LAKHOWAL.
The next day SARDAR AJMER SINGH L AKHOWAL was arrested in a serious corruption case from new courts in front of me and kept in lockup in PS Division No. 5, Ludhiana though shown arrested from Dholewal Chowk. I as an Advocate approached the concerned judicial court, and got necessary order against his so arrest and in the manner, but SARDAR AJMER SINGH LAKHOWAL disowned my advocacy and efforts as he-SARDAR AJMER SINGH LAKHOWAL was in touch with SARDAR PARKASH SINGH BADAL.
SARDAR AJMER SINGH LAKHOWAL will not deny all this as he always appreciated my professional conduct as an Advocate in communication on phones till I wrote as such:
ਜਦੋਂ ਇਥੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਤਦ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਕ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਅਜਮੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੱਖੋਵਾਲ ਬਰਖਿਲਾਫ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਏ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਫੌਜਦਾਰੀ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸੀ। ਬਾਦਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਤਰ ਤੇ ਰੋਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਪੁਲਸ ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅੱਜ ਉਸੇ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਉਹ ਬਤੌਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਿਆਨ-ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਜੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਉਭਾਰ ਕੇ ਛਾਪਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੀ.ਕੇ.ਯੂ. (ਲੱਖੋਵਾਲ) ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸੇ ‘ਚ ਲਏ ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਖੇਤੀ ਬਿੱਲਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ‘ਚ ਅਪੀਲ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸ. ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੱਖੋਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਅਪੀਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਅਪੀਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ, ਤਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ‘ਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
