:dateline:After being denied anticipatory bail by the Supreme Court, former Khanna SHO Baljinder Singh has surrendered before the Inspector General Naunihal Singh today.
Earlier, his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Punjab & Haryana High Court as well.�
Ex-SHO Baljinder is facing serious criminal charges for stripping an Amritdhari Sikh Jagpal Singh Jogi, his minor son, and a servant. He had also shot a nude video of them.
In June 2019, Baljinder had shot a nude video of Jagpal Singh Jogi, his son, and a servant after arresting them in a dispute over land with a Congress leader.
In May this year, Advocate HS Phoolka had written a letter to the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh demanding registration of a case against the former Khanna SHO Baljinder Singh under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act as Jagpal Singh Jogi�s minor son was also stripped in Police station.
Later, an FIR was registered against him in the Khanna police station.�
