Sources have revealed that Kanwaljit Singh produced some record before Advocate Ishar Singh to prove his innocence.

It is noteworthy to note here that 267 saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji have been found missing from the SGPC’s publication department. The incident came to fore when assistant supervisor Kanwaljit Singh got retired in May this year.

Kanwaljit Singh has claimed that he was forced to issue holy saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji without making entries in the record books. He has also claimed that more than 80 holy saroops got burnt in fire incident occurred at Gurdwara Ramsar Sahib in May-2016 while the SGPC disclosed damage of only 14.

However, the SGPC is accusing Kanwaljit Singh of negligence in his duties, but the SGPC’s accusation comes under suspicion because the latter is ready to let go Kanwaljit Singh just by recovering the cost of missing saroops.
