DSGMC launches free ambulance service for coronavirus patients

NEW DELHI, India—On the eve of the 364th birthday of eighth Sikh master Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee launched a free ambulance service for coronavirus patients. 12 ambulances have been deployed in different Gurdwaras of Delhi to commute coronavirus patients from their homes to hospitals without charging any cost.

Interacting with media, DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa informed that these ambulances have been equipped with all the essential medical services including oxygen. “These ambulances will operate round the clock and a special toll-free number has also been launched for the facility of people,” he added.

Sirsa further said that the DSGMC was committed to facilitate more ambulances if the need arises.

“This service is fully free and the needy people can either call on the toll-free number or nearby Gurdwaras to get quick service of these ambulances,” he added.
