BREAKING: Hate monger Sudhir Suri arrested from Indore

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—In a joint search operation with Indore police, the Punjab police have arrested  hate monger extremist Hindu leader Sudhir Suri from Indore (Madhya Pradesh). He was recently booked for using unsocial language against female family members of NRI Sikhs with an intention of inciting enmity between Sikhs and Hindus of Punjab.

Sharing the development, Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta informed that two teams of Amritsar police succeeded in nabbing Sudhir Suri in Indore with the help of Indore police.

On the complaint of Balbir Singh Muchhal, an FIR no. 208 under sections u/s 153-a, 354A, 509 IPC, and 67 IT Act was registered by the Amritsar (Rural) police against Sudhir Kumar Suri after his video clip spewing venom against the honor of female family members of NRI Sikhs went viral over social media.

As Suri was trying to be innocent by claiming this video being fake, DGP Dinkar Gupta had directed the Punjab Bureau of Investigation to get the clip examined though the Forensic Science Laboratory at the earliest.

Meanwhile, it is learned that Sudhir Suri is being brought back to Punjab and efforts were being made to get his bails canceled in other cases. Suri is already facing five cases of hate speeches in which he is enjoying bail.

“We have adopted a zero-tolerance policy against any individuals or organizations trying to incite communal hatred and fan communal passions through their speeches, statements, writings, posts on social media,” asserted Gupta.

He claimed that the Punjab Police was “highly sensitive towards dignity, safety, and security of women and would take strict action, as per law, against anyone showing women in a bad light.”
