Won’t snatch land from any Sikh farmer, Yogi assures SAD delegation

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On June 20, a three-member delegation of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) met the Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath to raise concern over bid to snatch hard-earned land from Sikh farmers in 17 villages of districts Rampur, Bijnaur and Lakhimpur. The SAD delegation comprising of Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Prem Singh Chandumajra, and Sikandar Singh Maluka succeeded in convincing Yogi Adityanath to refrain from snatching land from the Sikh farmers.

Delegation member Prem Singh Chandumajra informed that UP CM Yogi Adityanath has assured that the UP government will not snatch land from any Sikh farmer. “Yogi has announced that the UP government will now explore options for some other piece of land to establish Armed Forces Center instead of the land being cultivated by the Sikhs in village Champatpur of Bijnore,” Chandumajra said.

He revealed that Yogi Adityanath has also constituted four survey teams to explore the provisions for permanently allotting the proprietorship rights of land to the Sikh farmers that they have been cultivating for the last three generations or seven decades.

Yogi Adityanath has appointed Irrigation Minister Baldev Singh Aulakh as a coordinator of these four survey teams besides directing him to list down other hardships being faced by Sikhs in Uttar Pradesh.

  1. Why is it sikhs have to fight for everything in india when they shouldn’t have to. Then the Indian government wants to know why sikhs are demanding for their own country.

    • Raj, Here is example of not giving anyone benefit of doubt. When you work with someone’s actions and assign intentions with them all by yourself, you are always going to make a mistake. Unless you meditate under a tree for years you do not have ability to read people’s minds.

So the point is, first it was reported that UP is taking away lands of 30 thousand farmers. With Indian family 30 thousand farmers is easily 2 Lakh people’s livelihood. So it was assumed that UP govt is doing that because they hate Sikhs!?!?! It couldn’t have been a case of the fact that Sikhs diddnt own land yet? so UP govt figured it could be taken or a mistake by whoever for not looking properly or even knowing history of why they own those lands?

Now if the intentions as you assumed were true, why would UP CM turn around and say he wont take the land and in fact, write these lands in the name of Sikhs? What did he really gain? If you actually kept track of how many non-sikhs have their lands taken away so many times by Govt, you’d know how wrong you were with your assumptions.

And that is the point and that is the fact. This was easy to prove truth because there is some evidence even if we know these Yogies et el are low life, low class idiots.
