CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Considering the financial hardships being faced by the descendants of Bhai Mardana Ji amid lockdown, UAE based Sikh businessman Dr. S.P Singh Oberoi has announced to send Pakistani Rupees 40,000/- every month till prevalence of normalcy.
Sharing the development with media, Dr. S.P Singh Oberoi informed that one of the descendants of Bhai Mardana Ji was already working in his Dubai based company.
Interacting with media, Bhai Lal Ji’s son Bhai Naeem Tahir informed that the SGPC has also assured them to convey the committed amount of money soon.
It may be recalled here that Bhai Naeem Tahir, the 17th generation descendant of Bhai Mardana Ji, had earlier highlighted the financial hardships being faced by the descendants of Bhai Mardana Ji due to unavailability of monthly financial aid by the SGPC and DSGMC for the last five months.
