SYFB seeks exemplary punishment for Sumedh Saini

:dateline:The Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala has sought exemplary punishment for the Ex-DGP Sumedh Saini for abducting and brutally murdering Sikh youth Balwant Singh Multani by committing inhuman torture on him. The SYFB has also slammed Badals for assisting Sumedh Saini in securing anticipatory bail.

Speaking to Sikh24, SYFBs senior vice president Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal said that Ex-DGP Sumedh Saini was also guilty of brutally murdering so many other Sikh youths. He recounted the names of a number of Sikh youths, including Bhai Balwinder Singh Jatana and Prof. Rajinderpal Singh Bulara.

Sumedh Saini acted by tooth and nail to defend the sacrilege culprits in 2015 besides murdering two Sikh youths at Behbal Klan in an unprovoked firing, he said.

Ranjit Singh also questioned that why the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh was tightlipped about Sumedh Sainis representation in Court by Advocate Satnam Singh Kler who heads the Sikh Gurdwara Judicial Commission as well as the legal advisory team of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).

Mohali Court to address verdict on Sumedh Saini’s anticipatory bail plea tomorrow

On May 11, the Mohali’s additional district and sessions judge Monika Goyal will give address its decision on Sumedh Saini’s anticipatory bail plea.

On May 9, Advocate APS Deol represented Sumedh Saini in the court while arguing that the FIR registered in the matter after 29 years was not maintainable and that the FIR registered in the case was dismissed by the apex court in 2011.

However, the prosecution lawyer Pardeep Virk apprised the Court about the Supreme Court’s verdict in which it was clarified that recourse to fresh proceedings could be taken, if permissible in law. “For fresh investigation, Sainis custodial interrogation was a must as two investigating officers had already died,” he added.
