Police cops teach Sidhu Moosewala how to use an AK-47 rifle; Suspended

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—A video of controversial Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has gone viral over social media in which he could be seen getting training of using an AK-47 rifle at a firing range believed to be the government affiliated. Interestingly, the trainers of Sidhu Moosewala in this video are Punjab police cops and the AK-47 rifle being used in this video is said to be a service rifle of cops.

On the directions of DGP Dinkar Gupta, six cops along with a DSP rank officer Daljit Singh Virk have been suspended.

Beside it, a criminal case has been registered under sections 188 of IPC and section 51 of Disaster Management Act against Moosewala, Karam Singh Lehal, Inder Singh Grewal, Jang Sher Singh and six policemen namely assistant sub-inspectors Balkar Singh, Antarjit Singh, Ram Singh; head constable Gurjinder Singh, and constables Jasbir Singh and Harwinder Singh.

Initial reports reveal that the DSP had facilitated the shooting at the firing range in Badbar village on May 1 i.e. at a time when the entire state is under curfew.
