Bloomed flowers aromatize Guru Ka Bagh in Sri Darbar Sahib complex

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Various kinds of flowers are spreading fragrance in Guru Ka Bagh at Sri Darbar Sahib complex. There are also various types of plants on bloom. Now, saplings are being planted continuously in the park by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

Some Sapindus saplings were planted in the garden last week. This park has been prepared between Sri Guru Ram Dass Langar and Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall by the SGPC.

For the preparation and maintenance of this plantation, Baba Kashmir Singh Kar Seva Bhuri Wale has been assigned the sewa by SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal.

Few weeks ago, a huge variety of flowers was planted in this park by making special beds and these flowers have bloomed according to season. The SGPC is taking special care to this park and continuous addition is being done in these plants.. Under this, some Sapindus saplings were planted last week by the SGPC with the support of Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale.

Senior Vice President of SGPC Rajinder Singh Mehta said SGPC is doing efforts continuously for the protection and cleanliness of environment. ‘Guru Ka Bagh’ at Sri Darbar Sahib is also a part of this campaign.

According to SGPC Chief Secretary Dr. Roop Singh, the purpose of making this park is to inspire the sangat. He said that the SGPC aims to inspire sangat to plant greenery and fragrant plants in their homes.

Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale said that greenery blooms the human mind. He gave the message to the sangat to plant as more and more saplings as possible so that the natural environment could be preserved.

Baba Sukhwinder Singh Bhuriwale, SGPC additional secretary Sukhdev Singh Bhura Kohna, Superintendent Malkit Singh Beharwal, ex deputy secretary Ram Singh Bhinder, Amarjit Singh Shabad Chowki Wale, Sukhbir Singh Gwalior, Navdeep Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Jarnail Singh etc. were present at this occasion.
