SGPC expresses deep grief on sudden demise of Khalsa Aid’s Sewadar Inderjeet Singh

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has expressed deep grief on the sudden demise of Khalsa Aid’s Sewadar Inderjeet Singh in a road accident. SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal and chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh has said that the sudden demise of a Gursikh, who was serving humanity consistently, is very unfortunate. 

“It is a big loss for the whole Sikh Panth. Khalsa Aid is recognized for its services to the humanity in all over world and its sewadars always remain eager to help the people. Khalsa Aid has enlightened the name of Sikh community with its services. The sudden death of an active sewadar of such an organization is very unfortunate. Sikh community has got deprived from the services of such a selfless sewadar with this shocking incident. We express sympathy with the family of separated soul and we pray to God for the spiritual peace of this sewadar,” Chief secretary of SGPC Dr. Roop Singh said.

It may be recalled that Sikh youth Inderjeet Singh, who was serving the humanity while being a member of Khalsa Aid, had lost life in an accident on April 20. In this accident, another sewadar of Khalsa also got injured, but he is said to be out of danger while Inderjeet Singh succumbed to injuries. The duo Sikh youths were coming to Bathinda in a Khalsa Aid owned vehicle after providing aid material in Faridkot. Their vehicle got detracted and ran over divider of Kotkapura-Bajakhana road near Bajakhana.
