AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Finally, the Amritsar police have registered an FIR No. 0040 against the gangster Prahlad Talwar under sections 452, 427, 506, 148, 149 and 188 of Indian Penal Code for launching attack on Sikh activist Navdeep Singh’s home on April 18. The Police registered this FIR four days of this attack i.e. on April 22.
It may be recalled here that Hindu gangster Prahlad Talwar, along with 10-11 others, had launched attack on Sikh activist Navdeep Singh’s home in Amritsar during late evening hours on April 18. They damaged Navdeep Singh’s households by hurling petrol bomb, stones alongwith swearing the family members in an extremely vulgar language.
After this, Gangster Prahlad Talwar also sent death threats to Navdeep Singh and his family members via Facebook. In these deaths threats, he said he will kill each male member of Navdeep Singh’s family and only women will be left behind to wail loudly.
“I will take off your turbans along with me,” he further wrote in this threatening message.
