SGPC begins Sri Akhand Path Sahib for the spiritual peace of Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee today laid Sri Akhand Path Sahib for the spiritual peace of renowned Raagi Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa at Gurdwara Sri Bibeksar Sahib, which will be culminated on April 19. Ardasia Bhai Kulwinder Singh performed Ardas for the beginning of Sri Akhand Path Sahib.

It is noteworthy here that the SGPC had deferred Sri Akhand Path Sahib on the request of Khalsa’s family members because all of them were quarantined.

Sharing the development with Sikh24, SGPC’s chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh informed that the SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal will also attend the last prayers for the spiritual peace of Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa on April 19. He added that the whole program will be broadcasted live on PTC channel so that the Sikh sangat could also attend last prayers for him while sitting at home.

SGPC’s senior vice president Rajinder Singh Mehta, Harjap Singh Sultanwind, Secretary Manjit Singh Bath, Manager Mukhtar Singh, Additional Manager Harpreet Singh, Nishan Singh, Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa’s son Amiteshwar Singh etc. were also present on this occasion.
