:dateline:The management of Gurdwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib has not decided any date for the start of pilgrimage this year due to coronavirus outbreak. Notably, the pilgrimage to Sri Hemkunt Sahib usually begins in the second half of May every year and preparations for this pilgrimage season begins in April every year.
Sewa Singh, the manager of Sri Hemkunt Sahib Management Trust, informed that no decision has been taken yet in relation to beginning of pilgrimage due to country wide lockdown.
�Till date, no one has been able to even go for recce due to excessive snowfall this year,� he further informed.
Sewa Singh said that any decision regarding beginning of pilgrimage this year will be taken as per the guidelines of Indian government after lifting of lockdown.
