Prince Charles congratulates Sikhs on Vaisakhi; Hails selfless services of Sikhs

LONDON, UK—Charles, the Prince of Wales, has extended his warm wishes to the Sikh community on the eve of Vaisakhi. He has hailed the contribution being made by the Sikhs in battling against Covid-19 outbreak in the United Kingdom. 

“In the United Kingdom, as elsewhere, Sikhs are playing a vital role on the front line of this crisis, whether in hospitals or in other key roles or through the remarkable work that is being done by Gurdwaras to support local communities and the most vulnerable,” he said.

“In these challenging times, the Sikh community is making an extraordinary and invaluable contribution to the life of this country, and to so many others, just as it has always done,” he further said.
