CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has condemned the attack on Patiala Police cops by Nihangs. Notably, four Nihangs had attacked Police cops deployed in the vegetable market of Sanaur while chopping off hand of an Assistant Sub-Inspector today.
SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal has said that everyone needs to follow government instruction and remain disciplined amid curfew.
Similarly, Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal (96 Karodi) chief Baba Balbir Singh has also condemned the attack while refuting any relation of these assailants with Nihang Singhs. He has sought action against these assailants.
