:dateline:The Khalra Mission Organization�s chief Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra has said that she will fight the legal battle to bring the murderers of activist Davinder Singh to justice. She has said that the Khalra Mission Organization was committed to look after the legal proceedings of Davinder Singh�s murder case as well as supporting his family in every possible manner.
In a press statement, Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra said that Davinder Singh was an educated, hard-working and diligent person who was ever-ready in the fight against the injustices. �He worked hard with ENSAAF and Khalra Mission Organization in collecting evidences of the forcefully disappeared Sikh youths by going door to door,� she added.
Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra further said that Davinder Singh was keen to serve humanity in every possible manner. Davinder Singh was closely working to provide education to prisoners lodged in Amritsar jail. �He also served humanity by joining the efforts of an orphanage,� she added.
�I have known him since 2010 and he became my confidant due to his hardworking and honest nature. He also had good friendship with my son and he often used to come to my house along with my son,� said Bibi Khalra.
Recalling the last parliamentary polls, Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra said that Davinder Singh permanently became a part of his caravan in March-2019 and remained continuously campaigning for her till the elections.
On March 27, three unruly youths including a son of a police cop had shot at Sikh activist Davinder Singh in Kale village when he was trying to convince one of these youths named Lovepreet Singh AKA Love who was forcing a grocery shop owner to open his shop despite curfew imposition. On March 31, he had succumbed to injuries at a private hospital in Amritsar.
Revealing the legal proceedings against murderers, Bibi Khalra said that she has come to know that the trio murderers have been sent to jail. �
