CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Condoling the untimely demise of Raagi Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa, Shri Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Sangeet Mahasabha has announced to dedicate 145th Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Sammlean to Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa.
An announcement by the Mahasabha’s president Purnima Beri in this regard came on April 3.
Harballabh Sangeet Sammelan is the oldest festival of Indian Classical Music in the world, which is celebrated every year at the sacred seat of music, the samadhi of Baba Harballabh – a saint and an exponent of Hindustani Classical Music, in Jalandhar.
