Coronvirus Outbreak: DSGMC sees big conspiracy in vilification campaign launched against NRI Punjabis

NEW DELHI, India—DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa has said that a big conspiracy was being plotted to vilify the NRI Punjabis by holding them responsible for spreading coronavirus in India.

Sirsa has said that the NRI Punjabis were being portrayed as villains in this episode of coronavirus pandemic under a prefixed conspiracy to detach NRI Punjabis from Punjab.

“When a media blackout was implemented in 1984 to hide state excesses on Sikhs by the then Indian government, these NRIs a had raised voice for Sikhs,” he said while adding that the reality should be probed before vilifying NRI Punjabis.
